Converting halves your translation costs immediately

Are you aware that converting to Excosoft skribenta can lower your translation costs by around 50 immediately?

We are certainly convinced that you can save money with Excosoft Skribenta, but most of the time it can be difficult to measure streamlining in objective terms because there are parameters that vary before and after a conversion.

Therefore we chose to send two versions of a document to a well-known translation company, one of them in the original FrameMaker format, the other was converted into XML.

The following chart shows examples from a quote that show the results:

overbesparing

The two translation profiles that were returned to us displayed a reduction of nearly fifty per cent. In principle without any manual work.

In many organizations it might mean a direct saving of several millions of SEK per year, greatly increasing the quality of the information at the same time.

After this first step, that alone stands for a cost reduction of 50% you're able to additionally reduce the cost through structuring the material for maximum single sourcing.

A lot of people are worried that it will be difficult and troublesome to convert to XML, but that could not be further from the truth. Regardless of what tool you have used earlier it is possible to automate the converting process.

Contact us if you want to know more about what this can mean for you. If you think that the qualifications to save money are there we will make a system analysis and can securely estimate your eventual potential.

If an interest exists we will gladly convey contact with the translation firms that did the calculations.
